Mary Cotton Public Library is a Level I Major Service Center. The library serves people of all ages with both leisure time and educational services. The library provides over 30,000 books; has over 200 VCR tapes, music cassettes and cassette books for loan; carries many popular magazines; daily issues of USA Today and Wall Street Journal and handles large print books for the visually impaired. An extensive remodeling project that included an addition to the south side was completed on Mary Cotton Public Library in the Summer of 2009. The remodeling and expansion allowed for a dedicated computer room as well as meeting rooms and upgraded facilities.
