Sabetha Lake
Sabetha Lake provides a place to boat and water ski. A camping permit is required, but you may boat or fish for free.

Sabetha Lakes are enrolled in the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) Community Fisheries Assistance Program (CFAP). No local fees will be charged for fishing from the shoreline or from a boat. All of the laws of the State of Kansas governing fishing regulations apply including license requirements. There are camping fees.
Rules and Regulations are Posted at the lakes and a copy can be picked up at Sabetha City Hall.
Camping Fees
Daily Camping Fee with Annual Permit - $10.00 / day
Camping with Utilities and no Annual Permit - $20.00 / day
Annual Primitive Camping Permit - $30.00 with no daily fee
Annual permit of $30 will be issued on a calendar year basis (January 1 through December 31). A $5.00 service charge will be collected for not having permits displayed on the vehicle.
Replacement of lost or damaged annual Permit-$2.00
Camping Regulations
Camping shall be permitted only in designated areas of the Park. No camper shall occupy a camping space for more than seven consecutive calendar days. All approved camping spaces are on a first come first served basis with no reservations. Any person desiring to set up camp shall first pay the appropriate fee. Any camping at sites with utilities must pay the appropriate rate whether the utilities are used or not. No camping within 100 feet of the shelter houses unless it is a designated camp site. No more than 2 tents per camp site.
